It’s been quite some time since I last shared a Motivational Monday post, so I figured now was as good of a time as any to get back to it! I recently stumbled upon this amazing video on Vimeo that showcases Wes Anderson’s tedious approach to film which I have long admired.
I think, in general, what really inspires me are the people who wholeheartedly embrace and pour their soul into crafting their own style and doing their own thing. I truly admire every person who peruses the craziest of personal projects not for recognition but merely because they feel they must. When I meet people like that or read about them online, I’m always drawn to them, even if their work isn’t necessarily something that I love. The very idea that they are so passionate about what they do is enough to make me appreciate their work.
Wes Anderson’s film style, though not favored by everyone, is definitely one of those things that gets me revved up to create awesome work. This short video reminded me of the importance of constantly striving to craft the best version of myself, even if others don’t appreciate it.
